John’s passion for food started at 6 years old while tending to his Nona’s garden and learning to make bread and pasta in her kitchen. His career path included many years with Earls Restaurants as well Confusion Corner Bar & Grill before it led him to his current position as Executive Chef at Pasta la Vista Downtown. He credits Chefs Mike Knoble , Chuck Curry and Russ Klisinger for providing a positive influence and assisting in his success. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with family.

Graham Thorndycraft - Chef
Graham, born and raised in Winnipeg, knew by the age of six that he wanted to become a Chef. He completed the culinary course at South Winnipeg Tech in 1998 and started his career at Tango Cafe on Corydon Avenue. Graham joined the team at WOW! Hospitality Concepts in September 2003, at Breadworks Bakery & Express Café. He later moved next door to Past la Vista Downtown as Sous Chef. Graham helped open the second Pasta la Vista location on Kenaston Boulevard, in 2005 and 2 years later was promoted to Chef.
