Tristan Foucault - Executive Chef/Partner

A Winnipeg native, this Dubrulle International Culinary & Hotel Institute of Canada graduate brings to the table several jewels of experience, from Lumiere in Vancouver to Headingley's Green Gates. Tristan's love and curiousity for Asian cuisine made him the ideal choice to lead the kitchen team at Hu's on First.

He is one of the first scholarship recipients from "Chefs of the City" and plans to further enhance his training and expertise. Tristan's scholarships from "Chefs of the City" took him to the prestigious French Laundry in the Napa Valley and Bouchon in Las Vegas. He is now using this knowledge and experience at Oui Bistro & Wine Bar, where he is the Chef/Partner.
