Rebecca Waugh - General Manager

Rebecca graduated from the Malisapina University-College, Culinary Arts Program in 2001. She worked at The Mahle House in Cedar, BC, the best fine dining restaurant on Vancouver Island, before moving back to Winnipeg and spending a short time at the University Club with Chef Tim Appleton. Rebecca then went to work at La Vieille Gare Restaurant for the next 5 years where she completed her Apprenticeship under Chef Luc Jean. While working at La Vieille Gare as Sous Chef, she also had the pleasure of working at the Manitoba Club under Chef Bernard and Chef Costa. Rebecca has participated in the Hot and Cold competition and the Iron Chef of Winnipeg, where she received gold medals, as well as the Junior Chaine and Knorr competitions. Rebecca started with Breadworks in October, 2006 as Chef and has now assumed the responsibility of General Manager.
